There are literally dozens and dozens of places to eat in Walt Disney World, and - if you look at the Admissions page for prices for activities - there are just as many fun activities to do as well. Trying to list them all would take far more time and space than I have, and so this page is dedicated instead to the specific Dining and Activities that we decide to all do together while we are all in Walt Disney World.

If you are looking for specific Dining information, go to the Dining section on the DisneyWorld website. It also has a Beyond The Parks section for Activities outside the Parks.

Fantasmic! Dining Package at the Hollywood & Vine - Wednesday 8/22:
To avoid the long lines to see Fantasmic!, we are going to book our group dinner as the Fantasmic! Dining Package. We'll be having dinner at the all-you-can-eat buffet at the Hollywood & Vine restaurant in the MGM Studios.

Pooh & Friends Character Breakfast at The Crystal Palace - Thursday Morning 8/23:
Located in a beautiful glass building inside the Magic Kingdom, the Crystal Palace features an all-you-can-eat buffet with your favorite characters from the Hundred Acres: Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet. It is $16.95 per person for the breakfast buffet. Please note that you will need admission to the Magic Kingdom, and that Thursday is an Early Entry day at the Magic Kingdom for Disney Resort guests.

Cinderella's Royal Table - Saturday Morning 8/25:
Cinderella's Royal Table is located in Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom (many people aren't aware there is a restaurant in there!), and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is a Character Breakfast in the mornings that always features Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother, and includes other "Princess" characters. Snow White, Jasmine, Belle, Aladdin, Peter, and Wendy have been seen at this breakfast in the past as well.

Our original intention was to eat here the morning before our wedding. However, these are extremely difficult reservations to get, and though I called at 7:00am on the day reservations could be made, they were already sold out by the time I got through. I was, however, able to get them for the morning after our wedding, Saturday, August 25, 2001 at 8:25am. It is $14.95 per adult for all you can eat. Please note that you will need admission to the Magic Kingdom in order to attend this breakfast. Early Entrance is also available at the Magic Kingdom on Saturday for Disney resort guests.

Farewell Lunch at Whispering Canyon for Guests Departing - Saturday Afternoon 8/25:
We will be meeting for lunch at the Whispering Canyon cafe at the Wilderness Lodge, to wish farewell to our guests departing today. Food here is American Barbeque (chicken, ribs, fried fish, baked beans, and corn on the cob), served family style. It has a Wild West atmosphere, and the waiters here are all a part of the entertainment. Afterwards, we will be heading over to EPCOT.

Group Dinner at L'Originale Alfredo di Roma in EPCOT- Saturday Evening 8/25:
Join us in Italy in EPCOT's World Showcase for a night of fine dining, before our evening's entertainment at Cirque du Soleil. Dinner entrees range from $16 to $27, and feature the best of Italian dining. Our PS Reservations are for 5:30pm, but we should all arrive by 5:15pm.

More Dining Plans to follow!

Fantasmic! - Wednesday Evening 8/22:
Fantasmic! is an amazing show at Disney's MGM studios - live action, lights, lazers, fire and smoke - words just cannot describe this show, or how much fun it is. It is just... fantasmic! The premise is that you are in Mickey's Dreams, and the Disney Villains decide to take over his dream and turn it into a nightmare... and just when you think all is lost, the Disney Heroes join with Mickey to save the day. It really is a lot of fun, and you are truly missing something great if you miss this show.

"Welcome Party" - Thursday Evening 8/23:
The evening will start with a Tropical Welcome Party at O'Hana at the Polynesian resort at 5:00pm - all you can eat dining and great entertainment. (This evening is on us - you are responsible only for your alcohol and desserts). The evening will then continue at the Adventurer's Club in Pleasure Island, where we should all meet by 9:00pm at the Club.

We understand that a few of our guests are not arriving in time for dinner at O'Hana, and so we are asking them to meet us at Planet Hollywood by 8:00pm for Dinner On Us there.

"First Night Out" - Saturday Night, August 24:
We are planning a "First Night Out" (or "The Beginning of Our Ever After") evening party at Pleasure Island on Saturday, August 24, 2001. This will take the place of the "Beginning of the End and the End of the Beginning" party (in lieu of bachelor/bachelorette parties) we were planning for the night before the Welcome Party. As many guests are now arriving the day before the wedding due to the date change, we didn't want to exclude anyone from joining us for some fun at Pleasure Island. While we are more than willing to go to all the Clubs on Pleasure Island, our focus will be the Adventurer's Club, which by and far is our favorite. I think all of you will love it as well.

The plan is currently to meet up for dinner in EPCOT, at Alfredo's in Italy, and then a group of us will be catching the 9pm show of Cirque du Soleil in Downtown Disney. After the show, we will meet up again with everyone at 10:30pm at the West Side Entrance to Pleasure Island for some late-night fun. If people would rather, we will instead focus our fun in DisneyQuest.

More Planned Activities to follow!
