The Wedding Gown

I found my gown at David's Bridal back in early 1999. I knew it was the one the moment I saw it! The train is beautiful and unique, and the little roses are the perfect touch of "me." I love roses. At the time I bought my gown, David's was actually discontinuing this dress, and I was lucky to get the last gown in the store - and it fit perfectly (except needing to be hemmed, since I am short)! They have since brought the style back this year, and you should be able to find it again.

Obviously it isn't me in the gown pictured above - this is the photo from the David's Bridal catalogue. As I get my professional photos back, I will update this page.

Tiara

My tiara was handmade in Galway, Ireland by Colleen Collections. I cannot say enough good things about them! Attentive, friendly, and quick to respond, they answered all my questions and provided personalized advice on colors and styles. Their prices are also very reasonable, and include insured overseas shipping. They offer matching Flower Girl tiaras for half-price, and will make beautiful jewelry to match you tiara.

This picture does not truly do my tiara justice, as it is far more beautiful than can be captured on film. The photo doesn't quite capture the sparkle of the swarovski crystals, or the suble tones of the ivory pearls. But it gives you a good starting point to see how beautiful their work is! My tiara is called the "Tara Tiara."

The Veil

My veil was made by Tradewind Tiaras, and was truly beautiful. It was a simple elbow-length ivory veil with swarovski crystals sewn throughout, which captured the light and accented my tiara and jewelry just beautifully. It was handmade by Nikki at Tradewind Tiaras. If I get a good picture of it, I will place it here.
