The Nursery is finally coming together! Over the holiday weekend after Christmas, we finally finished tackling the baby's room (with much help from "Nanna" and "Paw Paw"), transforming it at last from our storage room to the baby's room. I should have taken a picture of it while it was all so empty, before it started filling up with baby's stuff!

Little JAM's first Christmas gifts made their way into the room, as well as the few other baby items we had bought - such as the clothes I couldn't resist getting (part of Carter's Once Upon A Time line; I'll need to take pictures!), a few toys, and some Dr. Seuss books.

On January 1, we received the Graco 3-in-1 Bassinet, which John put together. For now it sits in the baby's room, though it will migrate to the bedroom once the baby arrives. All of the clothes and toys from our first baby shower found their way into the old dresser we had placed in the room.

Then, on January 4, my dad stopped by with the baby's crib! John happily and eagerly put that together, and now it truly feels like a baby's room (though we still must get a mattress). We've even added the Mommy & Baby Bears to the crib, and the beautiful hand-made blanket from Liz.

On January 10, our family baby shower was held, and little JAM was indeed showered with many gifts! They've all been placed in the room; once we receive the combo unit (dresser, wardrobe, and changing table all in one), we will at last finish the baby's room, and put everything in order.
