There is no way, in a single page, that I could do Walt Disney World justice. With four major themeparks, three waterparks, a shopping area, night entertainment complex, a boardwalk, and dozens of resorts, restaurants, and stores, there is more to Walt Disney World than can easily be covered in a single page. Instead, my intent here is to provide links to places where you can get more information, as well as to provide information about specific activities of interest to our guests. If there is something you would like covered, please let me know.

The best place to begin is to go to DisneyWorld.com. For specific park information, click on the relevant link below:

Entertainment and Night Life:

As you can see from the list above, there is much to see and do at Walt Disney World. Most admission tickets provide unlimited access to the major theme parks, and varying admission to the minor parks (water parks, sports complex, Pleasure Island, and DisneyQuest). Most of the other forms of recreation are available at a separate admission. For more information, go to the Admission page.

Depending on the type of admission our guests have, we will plan activities accordingly. Given that it will be late summer, I suspect that visiting the Resort Pools and the Water Parks will have pretty high priority. :) Otherwise, it may be fun to do inexpensive activites, like watersports and miniature golf. Likewise, the Disney Club membership can get you discounts on many of these activities, as can having an Annual Passport or paying with American Express. John and I will have Annual Passports, and are also Disney Club members, so will be able to pass on some of these savings to our guests.

Monday - Magic Kingdom
Tuesday - Epcot
Wednesday - MGM Studios
Thursday - Magic Kingdom
Friday - Epcot
Saturday - Magic Kingdom
Sunday - MGM Studios

E-Ride Ticket Nights:

The E-Ride Night Schedule for August 2001 is every Tuesday and Friday,
except for August 31, 2001:

August 3, 7, 10, 14, 17, 21, 24: 10pm to 1am
August 28: 7pm to 10pm

E-Ride Tickets are a separate admission, $12 + tax for adults, and allow you entrance to the Magic Kingdom after park closes. As the number of tickets are limited, this means you get to enjoy the parks with virtually no crowds and short waits for the rides. It's a great way to enjoy the Magic Kingdom - especially during the summer, as it will be much cooler late at night. The following multi-day tickets qualify for Magic Kingdom E-Ride Nights purchase: Unlimited Magic Pass (formerly called Length of Stay), All-in-One Hopper, Park-Hopper, Seasonal Pass, Annual Pass, and Premium Annual Pass. The E-Ticket must be used in conjunction with a same day "multi-ticket" admission to any Disney Theme Park.
