After
dinner, we returned to Downtown Disney to meet up at DisneyQuest once more,
for the final planned group outing before the last of our guests departed
WDW. (We would meet up with Bryan & Sharon the next morning for breakfast
before they departed, and with AJ & Mike for dinner tomorrow and the E-Ride
Night at the Magic Kingdom before they left as well, but this was the last
of the wedding group activities).
Though
we were tired, we didn't let that stop us from enjoying all the Virtual
Reality fun DisneyQuest had to offer (though it did stop us from going to
the Adventurer's Club afterwards). We tried several rides we hadn't before,
such as Aladdin's Magic Carpet (where the cast member noticed our wedding
ears, and let us in front) and the Extraterroristial Encounter ride (where
we pitted the girls versus the guys).
AJ
& Mike left early, as AJ wasn't feeling well, and the rest of us continued
on to raft back in time in the Jungle Cruise ride. We then ended the night
on the Pirates of the Caribbean, arguably our favorite ride in DisneyQuest,
where you and friends man a pirate ship to shoot other pirate ships out
of the ocean (with canons), stealing their treasure, and fighting sea monsters
and ghost ships along the way. John was our captain, steering us bravely
across the seas, while the rest of us manned the cannons and fought our
way to Pirate Glory. It was a lot of fun, and we wished DisneyQuest had
remained open longer for us to try again!
But then DisneyQuest was closing, and it was time for us to say goodbye and go to sleep. The last of our Group Wedding Activities was done, and it was a wonderful ending to a week of fun and celebration.
