Wedding Week Photos

We made our way to Canada in EPCOT, to meet with many of our friends at 11:00am,and from there to go exploring and enjoying the park. Some of our friends were already waiting when we arrived, and several more showed up soon after. We all hugged and chatted excitedly over the past evening, and in anticipation of the day's plans. It quickly became apparent that there were several different things people wanted to do, and so we decided to split up into smaller groups, and to meet again at 2:00pm.

The day had already become hot and humid and almost unbearably sticky. As much as John and I wanted to walk around the World Showcase with several of our friends, we opted instead to join those going to the Living Seas, as the idea of air conditioning appealed to us greatly.

We visited the Living Seas, Innoventions, and Test Track, before heading back to the World Showcase for the 2:00pm rendezvous at China. We stopped at Mexico along the way, to watch the flamingos and pick up some Margueritas. The Cantina has great margueritas, and the hot, sticky weather just begged for that kind of refreshment.

At the China Pavilion, we met up again with several of our friends, and watched the acrobats perform. We waited to see if anyone else would show up, and when no one did, we split up again. While John and I wanted to wander with the World Showcase with Kendra, Caleb, and Michelle, we just could not muster the energy to brave the heat - and so we retreated with the others to the Universe of Energy (yet another air conditioned building).

We wandered throughout Epcot for the remainder of the afternoon. Some of our friends found the character caravan, and had several pictures taken with Eeyore, before coming to meet at the Italy Pavilion in preparation for our final group dinner at Alfredo's. As we all arrived, the Masquerade was finishing their performance - a wonderful pantomine of life at the Court of a King, and the intrigues and loves therein. It certainly was a favorite of everyone who saw the performance.

And then it was time for dinner!
