Our
day at Disney-MGM Studios ended with Fantasmic! It was a wonderful ending
to a wonderful day!
For those who have never seen Fantasmic! before, I recommend you see it.. many, many times! It is truly a great show, and displays an amazing amount of Disney magic in a short 25-minute show.
Because
we had booked the Fantasmic! Dining Package for our group dinner, we were
all able to get into Fantasmic! in the VIP seating area. We entered the
Fantasmic! viewing area from a special entrance, by-passing the normal line,
and were seated in a reserved area in the front right section of the stadium.
It was a great view of the show, and saved us much hassle! Michelle's mom
and sisters, sadly, missed this show as well - hopefully they will get a
chance to see it someday!
The
premise behind Fantasmic! is that you are watching Mickey's dreams. The
Disney Villains, however, never able to let such goodness and happiness
remain untouched, take over his dream, turning it into a Nightmare. But
then Mickey, aided by the Disney heroes and heroines, fight back in a spectacular
show that combines live action, pyrotechnics, fireworks, laser, movie, hydrotechnics,
and other special effects. It is a stunning display of Disney magic.
Our friends and family loved this show, and we were all still talking about it long after it ended!
