Part
of the fun of planning our Disney Fairy Tale Wedding was not only the wedding
itself, a celebration of our love and our commitment to one another. It
was also what we were able to plan for our guests, from the surprise appearances
of Disney Characters to the Illuminations
Party to the Slipper
Dessert.
And yet another surprise were the Gift Bags we had waiting for them when they arrived.
We had custom totebags made (through South Horizon), with our names, wedding date, location, and slogan on it, as well as Cinderella's Castle and Wedding Mickey & Minnie. We thought these would make great gifts and keepsakes, and help our guests to carry their souveneirs home!
Inside
each totebag, we included t-shirts with the same logo
(ordered through ArtApart),
battery-operated fans that could be clipped onto their belts (to help with
the heat!), squirt guns (more fun in the sun!), Disney Pez dispensers and
candy, Disney Luv Pops, a fanny pack (to carry stuff around in the park),
band-aids, sunblock, and chapstick.
We also included a green folder that contained a welcome letter from us, an itinerary of all group activities planned (as well as the bus schedule for the wedding day), a "how to get in touch with us" letter which included where we were staying when and the phone numbers for the resorts, two stamped WDW postcards (one for them to use, and one addressed to us), and two Letters to the Future (we were putting together a Wedding Time Capsule to open on our 10th Anniversary). For the members of the Wedding Party, we also included an additional itinerary including all the wedding-related activities, such as the rehearsal, photos, limo pick-up schedule, and more.
